We ordered the raised ranch sandwich and brisket with eggs. The grilled chicken sandwich was fine, nothing special. The bun was great! So I would opt for any types of their bread if you are set on visiting. The brisket and eggs were definitely not good. All the food was smashed to one side of the tinfoil bowl. The tortilla that is meant to come with the dish wasn 't included and we had to ask for one which they then brought out a cold one which was extremely bland and dry. The brisket was drenched in normal BBQ sauce and the everything was seasoned to the MOON with pepper. After we placed an order for takeout I proceeded to head to towards the back of the restaurant and asked the wait staff where their bathroom was. After doing so, the barista that overheard my question yelled out to the rest of the restaurant, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BATHROOM THERE ARE OTHER PUBLIC RESTROOMS FOR YOU TO USE [at x location] . I was very uncomfortable by this given we just placed an order and were supporting the business. I also saw the barista tell a customer that was picking up their order, yes, we 've been calling your name for a while now in a very sassy tone. Not the most friendly of environments. I was happy that we placed a to-go order. The wait for a table was 1.5 hours when we stopped by and it took 30 mins when we opted for takeout. No problem! Just expect a little wait over the weekend. The town is quite big. Try out some other bakeries!
The interior was super cozy and mildly eclectic, with walls painted in an usual green-blue shade that I don't think I've ever seen on a wall, which worked surprisingly well. We got French Toast on brioche bread, which included the option to have toppings of banana, strawberries or chocolate (I chose chocolate); and pancakes, that had ricotta and strawberry toppings, which we got on the side. The French toast and pancakes themselves were delicious, and the chocolate chips were definitely from good-quality chocolate. The strawberries were apparently not super fresh-tasting, so I'm knocking off one star for that. For our beverages we got coffee and orange juice. The coffee was decent, and the orange juice was particularly good, and somehow fruitier than normal fresh-squeezed orange juice. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful, they arrived to take our order very quickly, and they were very on top of seeing when we needed something. When we told them we had to leave soon because we had somewhere to go, they came out with our breakfast quite quickly, which was really appreciated. Overall it was a really nice cafe, with short wait times for seating, ordering and getting food, and really tasty dishes.
Had the day off of work so got to have a little morning date with the wife. We decided to stop here since it's always so busy on the weekends. What an awesome aesthetic. I had the flower power latte I think thats it's name. It was awesome very original. I had the beacon burger the bread was awesome and burger patty had good flavor and it was topped with gravy I thought so strange but it was so good. My wife had a sec and a basket of fries. She praises the fries best of her life. The bread on the sandwich she should of gotten toasted. What an awesome place can't wait to come back and try more! I wish it would be a bad review so I can get roasted by the owner. Your replies are awesome!
Not a great experience the oil was burnt making everything taste bitter :
Efficient and courteous service (the workers are pros on a busy Sunday morning! Tip them big), quality home-made pastries are priced reasonably and proportioned well and my dirty chai and my friend’s pumpkin spice latte were incredible! They use Counter Culture which is one of my fave bean brands personally, and need to be specially prepared by baristas so you know this spot is quality. Many syrup and milk options, and a drink special. Lots of variety in pastries, wish we could try them all! We loved the pumpkin loaf and the pumpkin pie. Lots of seating outside! Much cuter homey vibe than some of the plastic-y shopping centered expensive cafes on this street.
