August - Beamsville

August was recommended to us by a friend whose taste in restaurants we trust. We were NOT disappointed. August has a good menu and our meals were delicious. We will definitely go back. In fact, the tourtiere was so good we returned the next day to purchase an entire pie!

I always looked to August as my go to place for BRUNCH. Have been many times and it was a wonderful experience. This time it was different. Booked on line and invited to guest clients to join me. The hostess had a lot of difficulty finding my reservation, when guests arrived they were told I was not booked???? They looked in and saw my wife and I. The service was excellent and had been served by this gentleman many times. My guest ordered the special eggs Benny, at 11:30 at brunch they were SOLD OUT. Food was a long time coming, arrived cold. I ordered the Daves special omelette, the onions were slapped on the Toast and home fries were cold and hard. I really don't know what happened, I was very disappointed. when you pay over $100 for Brunch should leave happy!!!! Something has changed at August.

Super affordable and the food is delicious. Try the pastrami sandwich (it is probably the best I have ever had). This will be a lunch spot for us every time we go that way from now on.

First time here. It was amazing. I had the blackened chicken an gnocchi (with no bacon) an also lobster tots. Everything was even better then I had heard. If you haven't been here go. I wish I could give more then 5 stars.

We met friends for dinner here. The service was good, especially since we had a larger group. The food was tasty, I had the Pork Belly “Burnt Ends”. My only complaint was the small size of the portion. My wife had the French Onion Brisket Melt. As soon as her plate was delivered I was envious because her portion was so big. It just didn’t sit right with me since her dish was $10 less. In the end my wife could only finish half of her meal, so I helped her out and was comfortably full.
