Contribuisci feedbackThe access to the restaurant is terrible, with only one lane to guide you and limited parking space. We waited for 2 and a half hours for our food, only to be told in the last hour that it was coming out. When we finally received our order, which included 2 baby waffles, 1 vegetarian burger, 2 sandwiches, and 1 tofu dish, we paid over $200 in cash, only to end up leaving without eating as the food was inedible. We had no utensils and had to eat in the car, and eventually had to throw the food away. This was the worst restaurant experience of my life, and my family is now hesitant to try another vegetarian restaurant. I had wanted to showcase the best of Puerto Rico to a visitor from the United States, but I am now ashamed that this is what they experienced.
This restaurant impressed me with the fact that they grow their own food. They have a variety of herbs and vegetables like mint, chives, basil, arugula, lettuce, parsley, aloe vera, and many other plants. It was a great dining experience and I highly recommend it. I will definitely be back soon! One thing to note is that it's important to ask about ingredients to avoid any surprises, especially if you have dietary restrictions or ethical concerns. Overall, this restaurant values transparency and it's important for us as consumers to ask the necessary questions to make informed choices. Please support establishments that prioritize ethical practices and sustainability. This review is updated as of May 22, 2022.
I really enjoyed this place because they grow a lot of their own food, including mint, chives, basil, arugula, lettuce, parsley, aloe vera, and many other plants. It was a pleasant dining experience and I highly recommend it. Although it is not a completely vegan restaurant, I had to clarify some menu items to ensure they were vegan-friendly. One of the bread options contained chicken egg, and the staff member I asked was not certain if it was vegan or not, so I had to check the ingredients myself. It's important to ask questions about ingredients, especially if you are an ethical vegan, to make sure you are not unintentionally supporting the production and sale of products that harm animals. Make sure to double-check before ordering to avoid any surprises.
