Mel's Diner - Beatty

I don't understand why no one wrote comments about Mel's Diner! We ate there twice and found our meals well cooked, delicious, attractive and cheap. The diner was sweetly decorated and very clean. Our server was polite, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. There is no smoking and masks are required, which after several other restaurants in the area was a comfort.

By far the best food on the road between Las Vegas and Tonopah.

The outside doesn't look like much but the interior is wonderful. It captures the 1960's era atmosphere. It has pictures on the wall depicting the history of the area. Great tasty old fashioned burgers. The fries were hot and crispy.

We were looking for a place to get Breakfast before be continued on our way. Mel's Diner was a great place to stop. The only thing is they only take cash.
