Mumbai Indian Restaurant - BELAIR

We went to this restaurant on the public holiday Monday for my nephew's birthday The food was very good.

A ridiculous mistake on my behalf, as I had organized an important dinner party and to make things easier I had pre-ordered our large order of take away the day before. The order had gone extremely smoothly with effusive promises that our meal would be delivered at six p.m on the following night. The next day at 6.15 p.m. my dinner guests were becoming extremely agitated, as no food forthcoming. My frantic calls to the restaurant elicited a phone busy signal, so abandoning my guests I drove to the Mumbai restaurant. Much confusion on my arrival, as their phone was off the hook and after much searching my crumpled order was found. Some mumbled apologies, but no hint of trying to rectify their massive oversight. I was therefore left with hungry guests and the stress of attempting to resolve a situation not of my own making.Impossible to review the food, as no opportunity to taste, but I will give them poor marks for organization and custimer service.

Delivered to the door and so quick to arrive. Food was still hot and delicious. No other Indian restaurant in the area compares. Will eat in next time as the restaurant looks lovely.

My husband and I regularly get takeaway from Mumbai and we are never disappointed! The naan bread is the best I've had!

Mumbai has great food, the butter chicken is fantastic but I've never had a bad dish here. Full of flavour. I find it a bit more pricey than other places but the quality and tastiness of the food more than makes up for it. We go here 4-6 times a year, it's a family favourite!
