Sun Kee - Belfast

Eating is good. was given automatically forks and knives instead of hopfensticks, as I am white.

This Chinese restaurant is really expensive and the food with no real taste. I give two stars because service was reasonable fast and waiters where nice and there for the client. But I insist the food had no taste at all. I paid 40 pounds for two soaps, a chicken in lemon sauce and a duck in orange sauce. This was no part of a menu but individual dishes recommended by the cook... Very disappointed. I have taste these dishes in other Chinese restaurants and the difference was very big. I don't recommend this restaurant at all

I was very disappointed with my experience at Sun Kee. When ordering I told staff that I was allergic to mushooms and asked if I could have them removed from the dish. The staff member said that would be fine, but then proceeded to bring me a dish with mushooms and suggested I pick them out. Staff were friendly, but the food was very overpriced for the quality. I would not come back here.

Very disapointed with a never expected service charge of 7.50 for a table of 4 people. On the menu it said there is a charge of 10% for a table of 6. Never mentioned anything about 4. The starter, chilly squid, was very nice. The portion very small. The main, prawn noodles, was just ok. A bit overprice as there was nothing special about it. The service was good. The staff was doing their job, nor friendly or unfriendly. Two starters, 4 mains, 2 soft drinks and a beer: 82.10

Pathetic service. Two waitresses came to us one gave us a Chinese menu and the another one came with the English one. We ordered a King prawns dumpling. The other waitress came and asked if we ordered something, we replied yes. She again came to confirm and we said yes we ordered. The first one brought 3 pieces of dumplings after 25minutes. The second one came and when I was about to put the piece into my mouth she asked us to go to another table as she wants to access the room which was behind our table. I don't get it if she wanted to access that room why let us sit there in the first place. We had to take our plates to the other tables. We took our coats to other table. All she did was waiting for us to go to other table. Pathetic experience. And of course the dumpling wasn't good either. We left the place after paying our bill and with a promise ever never to return
