Menchie's Frozen Yogurt - Bellevue

We initially visited this restaurant when it first opened and I gave it 4 stars back then, but it has quickly declined. The prices have become too high, even before the recent inflation, and they have changed the policy for Fill-your-Cup Friday. What used to cost $5 is now $6, which they raised a few years ago. During the pandemic, they started offering pre-packaged options and limited customers to 3 servings, which seemed reasonable. However, now they have included chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, magic bowl, and others in that limit of 3, which feels excessive. When I asked about it, the young server who claimed to be the owner was quite rude. They have also reduced the selection of toppings. The frozen yogurt itself is mediocre, and the flavor options are limited, making the toppings the only redeeming aspect. I don’t think we'll be coming back; if I want a frozen treat, I'll just go to Cold Stone— their ice cream is fantastic. With Crumble next door, I wouldn’t be surprised if this place closes down soon.

Bellevue has a predominantly white population compared to black and other minority groups. I'm giving this place no stars, if I could, because I encountered a very racist white male employee who refused to let me use the restroom when I urgently needed it. As a black woman with kidney failure, I had just driven back from work in Seattle, and I couldn't hold it any longer. If I were a white woman, I believe he would have acted differently. I want to thank the nearby establishment, Stop Wings, for allowing me to use their restroom; I truly appreciate it. I always look forward to visiting when I'm in the area!

I had a wonderful experience with my friends at this restaurant. After enjoying some delicious frozen yogurt, I found that this place certainly lived up to my expectations. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. I hope they continue to maintain their high standards of cleanliness and consistency. Best regards in entering, offers of support, patience with children, waited for all in our group to finish selection, active cleaning often touched surfaces, constantly refilling topping selection I was impressed by the customer centric approach in the way that many never noticed. Really commendable. We'll be back to support this business.

Our favorite Yogurt stand! Friendly staff and lots of good yogurt options. They have sample cups also. The toppings are now placed in small to-go containers which you can pick up as you like! we love cookies cream and berry flavors. favorite toppings are chocolate rocks and boba!
