Contribuisci feedbackPrior to Melbourne Lockdown 2.0 I came to Bendigo. Dined at Cortille on a Sunday for Brunch as not many other cafes were open. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options available. <br/ tofu scramble this is something that I’ve been interested in trying on other menus but never have. Very tasty Thai flavours and you couldn’t tell you were eating tofu. <br/ Smash avo standard, nothing spectacular.<br/ Chilli Scramble was missing chorizo which appears to be a staple of chilli scrambles these days. however, the flavour of the scramble was very nice and had a nice chilli kick. <br/ With all of the meals (except the tofu) only one piece of toast was included. For the price, I was expecting a bigger portion and an extra piece of toast or an extra element (I.e chorizo) would’ve increased volume of the dish. <br/ <br/ very friendly and chatty staff. They were all happy to assist with menu choices. Food and drinks came out hot and on time. <br/
Awesome coffee and a really good breakfast menu with varied and modern options. It sure why this place isn’t rated higher?<br/ <br/ In any case it’s a must visit if you are in Bendigo for a weekend and want a great brunch.
As an experienced brunch foodie Melbourne, I am glad that Bendigo has a place that matches with Melbourne standard. From the point that I entered the place and have my coffee, I feel alive with Axil brand. The latte is so nice that I can give have one cup after the other. <br/ <br/ Also, as this is the first time that I visited the place, given that only limited places are open in Sunday for brunch in Bendigo. I love the food that is being served, ordering a big breakfast but nice proportions so I managed to finish it. <br/ <br/ The service is slightly disappointed as the waiter happen to forget my friend's extra order of poached eggs for her bowl. If the service is also up to standard, I would have given the place a 5 rating instead. <br/ <br/ Generally I enjoy the place and would like to visit it when I am back in Bendigo in the future.
Felt like a little piece of Melbourne out in Bendigo, lovely bright and sunny cafe complete with coffee being served from a little van inside. Delicious sauce on the crispy chicken burger, they should use it as a sauce for the chips!
Great food and awesome service... good coffee and nice street art on walls.Food tasty and satisfying. We had the lamb meatballs and Mexican jackfruit bowl. Highly recommend a visit when in Bendigo
