Botavara - Benicàssim

Went to visit Botavara for a light meal at 8.40 pm tonight. Our group of 5 were seated quickly. However we did notice that no one was eating at the other tables. They took our order and brought the wine and water to the table and patatas bravas I would like to mention that these are the freezer version and definitely not home made). We waited, and waited, and waited, and waited, then got the attention of a waiter and questioned him on the order, he mentioned problems in the kitchen, then we waited some more, then they served another table and continued to seat more people, still no food, we complained, and after 2 hours someone else’s sandwiches came to our table. They were left with us quickly and as we tried to figure out the order and realise it wasn’t ours, we called the staff to inform them if their error. We had touched the sandwiches. The table next to us told us it was their order and staff returned only to give them to the next table. Not very good practice in light of the Corona virus! Anyway the whole night was a disaster and any complaints we made were not received in a professional manner. In short not worth the visit.

A group of us came here to eat as we thought it looked like a nice place on the beachfront. Unless you like your beef mooing I would not recommend coming here. We ordered burgers which were raw inside, even after sending them back to be recooked. We were told we must still pay for the burgers and that is just “how we cook burgers in Spain”. After a lot of debating we managed to get a refund but I would never return again after such an awful experience. The customer service was also appalling our friend was refused a beer because we had complained about our food and we received no apologies for the state of the food nor did the staff smile once during the service. Overall a shocking experience and not one I would recommend.

Very good service and unbeatable views. You're literally on the beach. the food in if it is not of high quality, but good, the place, environment and the environment makes the place a place to go to enjoy.

One of my favorite places for the snack. nice and nice.
