The Angry Egg 2 - Bennington

The waitress was really sweet and kind, continually checking with the cook about our order. She even apologized to us and acknowledged that we had every right to leave. I couldn't tell if the cook was the owner since it was my first visit and I didn’t know anyone there, but he seemed frustrated and said, "What do you want me to do? I have to cook 25 pancakes at once! I know it's busy on the 4th since we’re the only place open." However, that doesn’t excuse the fact that we were skipped over while others, who could wait, were served first. We had two hungry kids with us, and the adults who were served before us could definitely have lasted a bit longer. This will be my last visit, and I’m definitely going to share my experience with friends and family. I wish I could give a rating of zero stars, but they don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.
