A little cramped, but pleasant. Dark wood and brass. Bar and kitchen in the distance. Unisex toilets, this is France of course the sky did not fall in when men and women went to the same place, the cubics enclosed and so on. 16€95 for the set three course menu: Feuilleté de poireaux, vieux Lille Leeks in cheese sauce with a small square of puff pastries on the top to make it a feuilleté. I loved Moules marinières, fries. Delicious, but very dirty. My son stole my chips, to scare the waitress Café liègois even messy coffee ice cream, thick coffee syrup and chantilly. I should have demanded a good value. The shells themselves cost more than the menu price
Our parents suggested this for us to eat on a weekend as they loved this restaurant moules fries from their first visit. My husband had the steak and I had the filets de dorade Royale Grills with a large cream sauce. The number of services was right. Everything was satisfied. Ambience and service were great. Although the price could be expensive for some people, it is still worth Berck being one of the most touristic destinations in the summer in France.
We pumped from the beach to Berck when we returned to Honfleur from a weekend. We visited the food before and in the depths of winter his one of the only places by the sea (good sea views)... was nice enough (we went for the liters of mussels and a goat's cheese saiad) together with a bottle mdet (which was fabusa) and beer and water. The bill came to 50 euros per pair and it was nice enough for a lunch break.
Excellent restaurant and good service, very obliging and helpful staff. Dined early afternoon wanted something 'light ' so we ordered a lardon, goats cheese salad absolutely delicious then couldn 't resist the warm tatatan and coffee. All very satisfying and reasonable. Excellent value. The brasserie is on...the corner of the main street so expect traffic noise, but don 't let this put you off as there is dining inside too. We sat out surrounded by glass screening and wasn 't put off. Worth a visit.
I was with Tunley Traveller and agree to the review. I had fish that was quite beautiful, although unusual for France there were a number of vegetables a few that were not recognizable. It made for interesting food. Maybe it would have been less... more. The waiters you have to say were not helpful to say what was added to a generally less than pleasant experience.
