This thai food are very delicious..we tried tomyam, fried fish and fried rice. Price from 100-200 krona.
I visited this restaurant with a large group of Thai's traveling through Norway. All the Thai folks said the food had a great authentic Thai flavor.
This Thai place was very average at best. The ingredients did not taste fresh and prices like the rest of Norway are expensive. In Sydney Thai costs half the price and tastes twice as good.
Location: Ok, easy to find on map, restaurant on 2nd floor (1st floor in English terms). Inside the restaurant there seemed to be a mix of what looked like a café on the right hand side, a restaurant on the left, a karaoke system and stage just to the right of the entrance and a bar to the left of the entrance. Overall the inside looked untidy and gave off an unbalanced atmosphere. Service: Staff needs training. We came in and didn't see any staff anywhere, for a restaurant this made us want to leave straight away. We found that there were 3 other guests sitting in the restaurant and decided to keep going, also because the restaurant had been given 4 stars, so we thought we just had to be patient. Only when we had chosen a table and started taking off our jackets did we meet a waitress with broken English and Norwegian. Price: Expensive, this compared to both quality and quantity of ingredients. The two dishes we ordered were accompanied with two large plates (not portioned bowls, but plates) with rice. While the green beef curry itself was just half bowl at 180, per portion. For a six feet tall 150lbs hungry man, this in my opinion is far from enough, had it not been for the rice. It seemed obvious that the restaurant had a thing for serving loads of rice and as little as possible of meat and vegetables. The green curry itself was not green, not spicy (just extremely salty) and was more a really thin soup. The beef was very thinly shredded, tasted absolutely nothing and almost nonexistant in the curry. I think I counted maybe five (5) pieces. Conclusion: The only thing that fills you up here is the rice. The atmosphere inside are for those who like things untidy and with all mixed up and service can be classified as good if you have the patience of a kindergarden teacher. Cheers.
