Scandic Byparken - Bergen

The breakfast buffet has marked clearly vegan options and also ginger shots. if they are vegan and stay in bergen, this is a good option. eating is so expensive that the breakfast buffet can save them a lot of money every day. tea and coffee are also available at any time.

Clean. Well appointed. Delicious assortment for bfast.

I had no idea that it's possible to ruin potatoes no spices in anything except chicken that tasted canned curry. About desserts... sugar shouldn't be the only ingredient.

Old hotel but rooms look nice, to bad no ac on the rooms, sunny day when I visit and the room was hoot and bad air quality, have to open the window but this is directly out on the street so it becomes noisy from traffic and pepole walking past

If you are looking for an affordable place in the city centre of Bergen, the Scandic Byparken is a good choice. Central location, friendly staff. Very good breakfast as usual at Scandic hotels. The only drawback is that rooms are tiny. But if you only need a place to sleep and are out and about the whole day anyway this should not matter too much.
