We tried several cocktails from popcorn old fashion, pomegranate and even some special off menu drinks based on what we liked. I can't ask for better service. We have tried a variety of decadent courts. On the starters we shared chicken pops, crispy calamari, flower-flowered mpura, spicy Brooklyn pizza and the burrata. The sauce on the Calamari was fantastic, chicken pops were great boiled, flowerflower popura was really different and delicious, spicy Brooklyn was so delicious that you can say it?s handmade and the Burrata isn?t my favorite but was still very delicious. On Mains we shared pumpkin Agnolotti, land fried chicken and salmon. The flavors were from this world. Desert was part of grilled chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and Chai seasoned cheesecake. Blown away. The wealth in both was great. Overall, this place is a winner and I look forward to the growth of this property. I will definitely be back and I will make sure I bring friends.
The food tastes great, but did you know that the pizza had the same prototype as another restaurant? Yeah, but I still like your food. They have amazing decorations such as marble tables and comfortable seats.
Great place connected to an Embassy Suites. Never noticed it before because it was back in a company park, but definitely worth a visit. Originally went for brunch, but saw some really great lunch options. The best article we ordered was the poutine with short rib. Most places make the engraving on pouting so watery that the frits makes so tender. Not here! The balance of severity, melted cheese and short rib were perfect over the crispy hot frits. It was perfect! Our food was good, but that Poutine was the star?
My sisters and I made reservations at Grain and Cain to celebrate our parent?s 65th and 66th birthdays. We had my 2 year old niece and 5 year old nephew 7 total on our party, and this turned out to be the treat we were hoping for! The host and servers were excellent, allowing me to pay for the meal ahead of ordering to ensure my Dad wouldn?t! The atmosphere of the restaurant was ideal not too loud and only one TV that I could see. The train station quote board was captivating quotes would change every 15 minutes or so with each letter flipping through the alphabet until it reached its place. The food was fresh and delightful. We had cheese fries that were surprisingly crunchy despite the cheese and seasonings. My nephew, a notoriously picky eater, had the best meal with his French toast and dipping options. Everyone at our meal remarked at how pleased they were with our meals and refreshments were outstanding! 5 stars and 3 cheers for Grain and Cain!
Beautiful space and delicious eats! This restaurant is attached to the Embassy Suites, but has its own upscale vibe. Lots of great design details from framed vintage rice bags (a nod to the owner?s history as a commodities trader on Wall Street in the early 1900s) to a rotating drink-inspired quotation board that flips like an departing flights sign every 1/2 hour. We had the pizza, meatballs, burgers, and beers. All were great and the staff was very warm and friendly.
