Homemade Cafe - Berkeley

My father has come here since his youth, and of course there were many changes in the course of the years. but the one that is still tasty is the waffles!

Finally had time to try this place. ordered pancakes, speck eier. I was told that the order would be ready for 20 to 25 minutes. I went to pick up and was told 10 minutes. the cashier said I could pay now and she'd call me when the order is ready. after 10 minutes or so, you went back to get my order, the cash went to meet him, we drove home. When I came home and the box opened, I couldn't believe my eyes, two pancakes, one was burned as black as the bag in which they put my order. we went back to the restaurant. I went in and complained (different cassers in the front) that we had waited for 45 minutes for this unacceptable eating and I let the casser know that I wanted a refund. I opened the box to show him how the burned pancake was put on the floor(they believed I wouldn't notice) the casser said he could see why I was angry. I also asked him if sirupbutters come with the pancakes. he said yes. I hadn't commanded mine. he tried to pay back to my account, but could not give me a reception. the reception that he printed looked like he had rebooked my account. I told him I waited long enough to give me money what he did, what a terrible experience. I will not try this place again. I will be sure to check my bank account to make sure that I didn't pay twice. waste of time!

We were very excited to eat here, but our excitement ended quickly when our hunger rose as the time spread. we waited for half an hour for our food (pancakes, fruit and eggs). others who came after us were served long before us. No one came and checked us in the meantime to get our drinks or other. and when we got our register card, it was disappointing to see that it applied an automatic 20% size. I feel so directly influenced the service. in any case not recommend. add: we just found a hair in our pancakes.

That might be a 5-star rating and could be 4 stars, but I didn't even have a teller with her eating! her cashier/server kidnapped his teeth with me when I came in for something small to go objects and then punched the buttons of the to his middle finger, and a third what would be identifiable - I have tilted anyway. I did not meet him or have been before him and simply ordered things to go without putting in, maybe it is because I am a head bigger than him than a woman? if it is not that I don't know what, because I had no urites, strange questions or sarcastic lid on my vote in the one set of interaction we had before he acted like that. his actions clearly draw them down. I am sure that I have done nothing to justify this in order to prohibit him from leaving other guests in other times, unwilling and asking what they have done. that's not what you need at your favorite breakfast spot.

Little hole in the wall place with alright breakfast. I actually enjoyed the robust and flavorful coffee most!lol There will be a 20% gratuity charge regardless of party size and it helps pay for staff's wages. After placing my name/party of 2 on the list, I was told the wait time was about 10 mins. That 10 mins somehow turned into 45 mins I cannot say it was the wait staff or cook bc I seen them busting their butts off. Anyhoo, I didn't love it nor hate it. The overall experience was alright.
