Mezzo - Berkeley

The sandwiches at this place are delicious! I highly recommend trying it out. Mezzo has a lovely interior and terrace that are beautifully designed. They could improve by ensuring their tables are clean for customers.

The sandwiches and salads at this restaurant are absolutely incredible. The portions are huge and the location is very central, making it convenient for everything around the campus. It's just a few blocks from the Sather Gate. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable with lots of sunlight, and both the indoor and terrace seating areas are beautifully decorated. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. My family of four was able to dine here for just $5.

They hit the mark with their sandwiches at this restaurant. The honey wheat bread is incredibly delicious and the turkey is thinly sliced and hand-carved, not processed. The sandwich is simple but tasty, moist, and satisfying. The menu is not extensive but offers enough variety. My only complaint is that the sandwiches are too big. It would be nice if they offered a half sandwich option. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth a try.

That was the one place I always had to go when I was in town. it was heartbreaking and for years I went without tasty cheap salads. there was no other replacement. then it came back and it was just as good as we all remembered. huge portions, fresh ingredients, homemade bread and these dressings?. yes, please.

Friendly, responsive staff. Prompt service. Delicious food. Good value. Always a pleasure going to Intermezzo!
