Its setting is fantastic, on a quiet pedestrian street right next to the canal. With friendly, attentive service, and a reasonable range of drinks options, including a half dozen local beers, coupled with the background chatter of local voices filling the summer night air, this was a great place to relax and unwind. There's a wide range of snacks on the menu: we tried the waffles, and the apple strudel, which were both splendid. Prices were very reasonable for the centre of Berlin. We certainly recommend a visit to Cafe Re.
Staff here were very friendly and welcoming. The food was also good and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.
Nice little pub/cafe located on the edge of the river Spree. Friendly staff. We sat outside on the waters edge and had some beers and food. I'd recommend the Berlin meat balls as a snack. Reasonable price for Berlin
This cafe is nothing special -- except that it has tables along the Spree. Irresistible on one of these endless hot summer nights, in an area that cannot boast a lot of such places.
Stopped by here on an afternoon and sat outside overlooking the river with a nice glass of wine. Also went back and sat inside the following evening drinking their recommended drink 'Hugo' (sparkling wine/champagne, elderflower and mint) which was lovely and refreshing. Nice little local bar, would recommend.
