Chupenga - Berlin

Loved Chupenga - visited twice during our trip to Berlin. So many great, healthy, flavourful options - nice having these kind of choices after many heavier meals. Two large lunches and two beer for under $25 Euros. Line ups start around noon. Would definitely return for lunch or an early dinner.

Near checkpoint Charlie you find this friendly Mexican restaurant where you very quickly can have your lunch. We were there on a sunny day and had a very nice half an hour eating outside on their terrace. Food is ordinary and fine - and you should not expect anything else - but this is also fine for a quick lunch.

If you're craving Mexican food this might be the place to go! Their portions are so big we were not able to finish our bowls and all under 10€. As in many restaurants in Berlin i was pleasantly surprised to find all vegan options clearly labelled, making it easier for me to decide. We both had a salad with 'fooled pork' - pulled jackfruit - lentils, quinoa, corn, extra guacamole. It was a great place whether you are looking for vegetarian/vegan options or simply a filling meal!

Food tasted great, good size on the portions, super nice venue, reasonably priced and friendly staff.

Great street food but then inside. The price is really excellent as well. That while it's self service the service is great.
