I didn't want to cook for my birthday, but maize after another couple of delicious foods. philippe vom la cocotte has delivered us a bombastic menu with cream, goat cheese, duenconfit. easy to heat in much. that was very simple and went fast and was mega tasty! no comparison with the deliveries they ordered otherwise. an absolute recommendation if this loosening lasts longer, and they do not want to give up a good meal. I'm sure we'll do it again, or we'll be right over when we get back.
This is a charming little french restaurant in Schöneberg. The guys who run this place one from Berlin and one from Paris are lovely and so helpful. They source many of their ingredients from specific farms and wineries in France. They are known...for their stews (we went twice and tried them all all great! . Nice decor of cute advertising posters.
Visited this restaurant twice now (2015 and 2016), and it was brilliant again. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food delicious and well presented. Will definitely keep returning!
We were four, for a birthday celebration, including one small child. It was a balmy spring evening, so we sat outside. While we had been warned that a cook was out ill and things may take a little longer, we were in no rush, and...in the end, we didn't have to wait long. We all immensely enjoyed our food. The kid had the potatoe gratin, which was perfect for her. I had the boeuf bourgignon and it was so, so good (and a sizeable portion, too). I also had the foie gras for starters, which isn't to everybody's liking, but I'm always happy to find it on a menu. It was délicieux! All in all an excellent experience and since I live in the neighborhood, I will be back!
An excellent dinner with friends, very good red wine Corsica to accompany a typical French artichoke vinaigrette and rare in a restaurant, the grilled tuna was great too. Philippe and Micky the 2 bosses are adorable, always tasty anecdotes and stories about the place and...its history. A lovely evening in really good company
