Old Shanghai - Berlin

We have eaten here as a small group on a Friday night. we chose a selection of appetizers, as we were all hungry, while we chose the main dishes. the appetizers were so terrible that we paid for it and ate somewhere else. the appetizers were somehow boiled, tasteless or in a round unmistakable. I have seen some good crooks, maybe we had just bad luck, but the unanimous decision was terrible and we voted with our feet.

After several weeks of burger and pizza on our travel we had lust on something else and went here to take. it wasn't far from our hotel, but it was a bit remote. there were only 2 other people in the restaurant and we waited 15-20 minutes for eating to take. they had an English menu and the food was good.

They walk through the real walled city of old shanghai. many providers of food stores. at the festivals. a must to see many like fleee markets?

Look is not everything. decor etc very minimal, but eating was really fresh and good! I had vegetarian eating and it was all very tasty and unique. fried eggplant was fabulous!

We were in this restaurant next to our hotel... and regret it a little! the service staff is initially unfriendly, the food on the menu are only listed in German etc. in the kitchen: we are on a wavy length. products of poor quality and mostly heated dishes. not recommended are the noodles, the appetizers and the appearance of early rolls, so the whole food for the modest amount of €21.
