Saigon Green - Berlin

Very nice staff and good choice for vegetarians. We particularly enjoyed the spicy and sour soup. The dim sums are really tasty

We were pleased to happen upon Saigon Green when we roamed this neighborhood. The food was authentic, fresh and delicious. It was a welcome change from local food and like familiar food at home in California

We had found this place the night before, searching for another, so decided to give it a try, walking down Kantstr about minutes from our hotel. The place was crowded and we had to wait about ten minutes for a table to become free....Most of those around us were having Pho big bowls of noodles and soup. The young waiter gave us a hand with the menu and we decided to have the Summer and the Autumn rolls these served cold. Then we had Liquid Gold which was a chicken curry with rice and Mango Tango which was two prawn skewers on a bed of vegetables we shared all the dishes which came with their own sauces in little dishes. All very tasty and we had beer to wash it down. My friend had been to a Vietnamese restaurant on her last visit to Berlin and we could not find it on this street. It had been so good that they had eaten there twice. The owners told us that it had been closed, but had known of it, but they had not owned it. Saigon Green was very busy and popular and quite noisy, the tables are all for sharing. Our bill for two came to before tip. We enjoyed the meal

We ate here nights in a row it was soooo delicious! Yes, a bit spicy, but fresh ingredients, nice staff and extremely cheap

... I would. The tapas are awesome to start or share, but the main dishes just blow your taste buds
