Ordered a mocha latte with rich chocolate, added 2 shots, as it comes with only one shot. A hot chocolate with no whipped cream. A huevos con queso, eggs over hard, chili turkey sausage instead of bacon and the chili con queso on the side. $49.31. The pecan and cinnamon roll (topped with sugar) are huge here, as big as your face. Would have gotten the cinnamon roll if the icing was cream cheese based, that's my jam. The mocha rich chocolate was yummy. The hot chocolate is decent with the Ghirardelli chocolate, not super rich, but still not bad. The huevos ranchero here wasn't too bad, but the huevos con queso stole the show, the queso was more appealing and tasty and just as creamy to me, since I am not a fan of the hollandaise sauce much. The chili con queso sauce was good, the chili turkey sausage wasn't bad either. My hubby preferred my huevos con queso over his huevos rancheros, me too. The receipt really threw me off, the first line after the amount is for charity, then the tip and the the final total. My signed receipt looked like a mess trying to put the tip on the right line.
We have never had a bad bite here. The food is so amazing. The blue corn enchiladas and Chile rellenos are my favorite. But I'd also suggest just about anything else. Only cause I haven't tried everything. And definitely save room for dessert. I love how the dessert case is right there when you walk in so you can plan on having that certain sweet to finish off your meal. And the staff always are so helpful.
Extravagant funny place atmosphere with Excellent service and food. Ask for gluten free options even if you do not see them. They are not considered a gluten free restaurant but Mexican menus items are mostly corn based. Easy to eat there and they may have gluten free buns available for the their terrific sandwiches. Do not eat the fries as the look breaded.
The food really was delicious and the staff was all incredibly genial and attentive. I had the Spinach Enchiladas and nachos. The hot chocolate was also quite good.
My friend and I decided to go to The Range Cafe in Bernalillo for lunch today. We were seated right away and our server, Alexandria (Alex) came to get our drink orders shortly after. We split an order of the chips and guacamole for starters very good. My friend ordered the Blue Corn Enchiladas with Carne adovada and opted for a double order of the seasonal veggies on the side. Delicious! I got their Salmon Berry Salad, which came with a grilled (cooked to your specific liking) filet atop a bed of spring greens with crispy onions, blueberries, strawberries and candied pecans with a luscious balsamic vinaigrette AMAZING!!! She helped us choose healthier meal options because we are both diabetic. The food was delivered in a very reasonable time frame, and she checked in on us whenever she could. Alex was very courteous and attentive for the whole visit and when she asked us for dessert, she mentioned they had a sugar free cheesecake! We opted to split an order, and were VERY pleased with it!! We couldn't even tell taste-wise that it was sugar free!! In a previous visit, I had tried their green chile strips appetizer and their Mediterranean salad (mixed greens, artichoke hearts, roasted tomatoes, kalamata olives, red onions, cucumber, chickpeas, pepperoncini, and feta croutons with their lemon basil vinaigrette DIVINE!!! Give them a try!! I HIGHLY recommend them!!
