I had much better tbh. I feel like we were wasting over $90.
We decided to drop in for lunch on our way through Berry a few weeks ago and weren't dissapointed by this gem of a place. Food and ambience is spot on.
Beautiful food and location set in a beautifully designed building with great service and one of the best tasting Asian foods I've tasted.
The Panang chicken with asparagus and carrot was quite good but the other mains we ordered were average at best. Serving size is small and on average close to $30 per dish. The spring rolls were mostly oil.
It was pouring with rain and I took shelter on this restaurant 's porch, sitting at a table, while my daughter used the facilities in the park. The restaurant was deserted as it was mid afternoon. I was only going to be there a minute I am wearing a moonboot and didn 't want it to get wet. The woman at the counter came out and told me to get off the porch. I pointed out it was raining hard and she said I don 't care, that 's your problem . She continued to yell at me as I walked away. I don 't think i have ever been spoken to so rudely by a business operator. Sure it 's your property but I wasn 't doing it any damage and surely this is not the warm and welcoming vibe that the rest of Berry is so good at cultivating.
