Baguettes, toasties, paninis and salads are all besides a reasonable choice of main dishes, if preferred. then we enjoyed our cream scenes with jam. we ordered tee served in large teapots, which was hot and refreshing. we were certainly welcome, and the service was very good, the prices also reasonable. I was surprised how big the facility was, with a lot of space both inside and outside. the decor is traditional, attractive and comfortable. the tea cosy is worth a visit.
The waitresses are first class polite and attentive.tea and scones can't fault it we enjoyed every minute well done girls.
The restaurant is beautifully located on the road to the mountain, featuring a spacious interior and outdoor seating that offers stunning views of the mountains. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the service was prompt. The cakes were delicious. I will definitely be returning!
A hidden gem of a café that is located near the minster and should be a must-visit for both locals and tourists in Beverley. The cakes are absolutely divine, and the kitchen is impeccably clean, just like the restrooms! We enjoyed sitting in the garden on a beautiful summer day, even though it ended on a less pleasant note. The winter garden is cozy and inviting, and the main café showcases an intriguing selection of photographs. The staff go above and beyond – when we asked for ice cream, which wasn't on the menu, they happily obliged without any complaints. Be sure to visit this charming little spot!
If you ever visit the Minster in Beverley, be sure to stop by this café for a cup of tea or a bite to eat, located just across the road from the Minster. Upon entering, you'll find a dining area with an elegant, traditional style featuring dark wood paneling, alongside a more modern seating area at the back with outdoor options. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, and they offer a good selection of both hot and cold drinks, as well as a delightful range of dining options, including tempting cakes on display. Payment can be made by cash or card. The only drawback I noticed is that the establishment is for sale, which might be concerning. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend visiting this cozy spot in such a quiet location.
