The appetizers had small portions, but the main courses were generously sized and tasty. The lamb was superior to the duck, and the chocolate pie dessert was delicious. I did not sample the wine, but the prices were fair for a quality bottle. The restaurant has a rustic and romantic ambiance, although I was not a fan of the cramped table next to the door.
Located in a stunning setting, this restaurant offers incredible views and delicious food. We opted for the three-course meal deal for $50 and were impressed with the high quality of all our dishes. The ingredients were fresh, the food was cooked perfectly, and each dish was beautifully presented. Standout dishes for us included the slow-cooked pork belly, seared Carnarvon scallops, crispy quail, and a generous portion of halloumi, baby beet, freekah, and beetroot salad. The dark chocolate peanut butter pie and beef cheek on polenta were both exceptional as well. We also enjoyed a cheese board, which paired nicely with wine. The staff were attentive and friendly, enhancing our overall dining experience. This restaurant comes highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a sunny afternoon with excellent food and drinks.
Fantastic location on a sunny spring day. Was lovely to sit out in the shade surrounded by the beautiful garden. Food was outstanding. Definitely want to return!
Such a beautiful picturesque outlook and great for alfresco dining. Interesting and delicious menu with such tasty fresh food. The wines are very tasty and you can buy direct from the cellar door. Only a 30 minute drive so closer than you think. Great service. Love coming here with a consistent menu although would be nice if there was some variation.
