Curklin's - Big Stone Gap

Never thought I would see a Manager defend undercooked pork. At first she wasn 't sure if it was undercooked and had to take it back to ask. (Which is a little concerning since its obviously pink in the center) then she said, That 's how we give it to all our customers. I enjoyed the parts that were cooked and the asparagus was pretty good. At least the mistake was corrected by charging half for it. I wasn 't even asked how I wanted it cooked (assuming it is appropriate to cook pork at medium) The waitress and front desk were nice.

Just updating my review. I think I ate the chop steak everyday here for 2 weeks straight. I love the food so much. Excellent place. There is a huge variety of food without having too big of a menu. They are willing to make accommodations for you no matter what they are. The bartenders will take the time to come talk to you if you have any questions. Definitely worth trying if you haven't yet.

Jaylen (hope I'm spelling this correctly), was our waitress. She was wonderful!! The food was really good. Downtown atmosphere was amazing!! We will be back.

I wish I had thought about taking pics BEFORE we ate. We got an appetizer and meals. The jalapeno pimento cheese bites (super cheese , super good and fresh , bbq bacon burger (HUGE burger and fries, delicious , bourbon shrimp tacos and baked potato (the shrimp tacos .... DUDDDEEEE. Best ones ever! Staff was super friendly when I went to pick food up.
