Shipley Golf Club - Bingley

I have just had my mums funeral celebration at Shipley Golf Club. I could not have chosen a better place. Massive thankyou to Alice who was so supportive every step of the way. Food beautiful and all staff on the day lovely. Thank you so much

The focus here is on the course, and Shipley certainly doesn't disappoint. It's interesting, fun, challenging, fair, and beautifully scenic in many places, with the 7th hole being particularly special. If Shipley were my home course, I would be absolutely thrilled. However, I do have a few minor concerns, which may just be personal to me: 1. The 8th hole is quite difficult for average golfers, detracting from the enjoyment. 2. The greens were somewhat slow but consistent and fair. 3. Some tee boxes had branches that were too intrusive, making it nearly impossible to execute a draw. Playing a MacKenzie course is always a pleasure, and Shipley is no exception. Highly recommended!

I visited Shipley Golf Club for Sunday lunch, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was outstanding, and the service was just as exceptional. It's a beautiful place with delicious food and wonderful staff.
