Ruby Sunshine - Birmingham

I've been waiting for this location to open!! Fried green tomatoes very tiny but very GOOD! I had an omlet with sausage, cheese,tomatoes mushrooms...AMAZING! Especially with the sauce from the fried green tomatoes!

Ruby Sunshine is not really one of my favorites. The food was okay I guess but nothing special. The menu items in my eyes are overly fanciful. I don't really want a dish piled up with excessive ingredients in a chef's attempt to create something artistic. Just give me well prepared good food at a reasonable price.

Absolutely the greatest experience, service and atmosphere are awesome and our food was phenomenal!! Husband and I started out with the seasonal Beignets, both had the BBQ Shrimp and Grits, his with soft scrambled eggs, mine with poached eggs, and homemade biscuits. When I say everything and I mean was absolutely delicious!! EVERYTHING ????????????

This was my first time coming here and I left completely satisfied. There were many choices on the menu to choose from. I ordered a **** Mary and it was outstanding. My omelet was amazing and the grits and biscuit Not the standard you would get anywhere else. The biscuit was one of the best I have had.
