Taqueria Mexico - Birmingham

The restaurant offers incredibly delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine. Some standout à la carte dishes include the Sopes (especially the Al Pastor), ceviche tostado (both fish and shrimp options are fantastic), and the tacos, which always satisfy. The Huevos Ranchero is a flavorful and hearty plate that won't disappoint. Be sure to request the salsa verde with avocado, as well as their spicier red salsa, in addition to the regular red sauce.

Delicious Mexican cuisine, lively Mariachi performances, and prompt service make this a great spot to relax and enjoy. It can be a bit tricky to spot from the main road, but there are plenty of shops nearby to explore.

This is undoubtedly the most authentic Mexican restaurant I've ever dined at. We chose to go there based on the positive reviews, and I must say, my food was fantastic! I will definitely be returning!

Last night I was talking to a friend about not having found a great Mexican restaurant here yet. She recommend this establishment, so here we are tonight. The waitress was excellent and the food was also. We all cleared our plates (including my 9 and 11 year old). The last time I had Mexican food this good was when I actually IN Mexico. The only possible negativ things to say is the music was a bit too loud and I ate entirely too much!!!

A hidden gem! It may be a bit on the pricey side, but the food is excellent. The margaritas are also fantastic!
