The Fish Market - Birmingham

We gathered a group of 15 for dinner, bringing together family members who hadn't seen each other in years. We were in town to attend our 95-year-old grandmother's funeral, who used to take us to the fish market during our visits. Our waitress was fantastic—very attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

I visited this location for the first time, and my experience was fantastic! I enjoyed every aspect of this place. The atmosphere was calming, and the food was delicious—be sure to try the Greek salad!

We were seated within 10 minutes on Saturday afternoon. Our server was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive to our drinks. The food was incredible. There were four of us, and everyone was very satisfied with their entrees. The smoked tuna dip was delightful, and the hushpuppies were excellent. We will definitely be coming back!

We had a delightful lunch at Fish Market Hoover. The waitress was outstanding—extremely attentive and friendly.

We enjoyed our meals, which were both fresh and delicious. If you appreciate the scents of sautéed onions, paprika, tomatoes, capers, olives, and feta cheese, I highly recommend the Athenian Snapper. Two of us indulged in the delightful Buffalo popcorn shrimp, while another enjoyed shrimp and grits, and the rest savored some fresh salmon cakes. Each meal comes with a choice of two sides, with several options available, some at an additional cost. Our lunch for six totaled between $12.99 and $23.99—five of our meals were under $20. The $23.99 meal was a large seafood platter. Soft drinks and tea were priced at $2.99 each. Since our party had six or more members, we agreed to a 20% gratuity, which we felt was well-deserved. Our server was very friendly, checked on us frequently, and brought us extra drinks as needed. By the end of our meal, our total bill, including taxes and tips, was just over $150, averaging about $25 per person. We were more than happy to pay for such excellent seafood!
