Its just been done out and looks more like a restaurant than a take-away, if you go on the weekend its hard to get a seat to sit and eat it really popular with the locals as we realised when we went their as it was full of families.Must go place and food and service is excellent will not be disappointed.
Best chicken and chip shop ever eat from there everyday so nice love it everyone should go and try their chicken strips
I wanted pizza and instead of going to Greggs which is nearby l managed to find Dixy on Highfield Road. The guy behind the counter at approximately 14:10 was friendly and assured me the meat feast pizza will be made nicely as requested. After 18 minutes the pizza was ready and it was cooked to perfection and all l can say is it was lovely. The pizza had toppings aplenty, was very tasty and was served with three tubs of chilli sauce. A homeless woman (IC3 and in her 40's) scraggy in appearance asked a few patrons for change which is rather disconcerting when one is trying to eat in relative peace. She must do this all the time and managed to bag a free meal like it was the norm. Overall l was happy with the food and would recommend this establishment to others visiting this road for reasons of clothes shopping.
Dixy Chicken provides a quick and tasty fast food experience with delicious and fresh chicken. The made-to-order panini is especially satisfying. However, the cleanliness of the restaurant needs some work and the atmosphere could be more welcoming. Despite this, the staff is friendly, resulting in a positive overall dining experience.
This place is not bad at all even though it's been here for a long time the staff are not bad that either. The food here is not that bad its abit pricey, but I can't complain at all. The furniture is kinda old but still comfortable. This place is halal this place does cash card payments here. I would recommend to family friends.
