Max's Coffee Shop - Birmingham

I would like to express my gratitude to Dean and the staff at the Cafe for allowing me to work there for two days while my son was playing cricket at Four Oaks CC nearby. The secure Wi-fi connection was one of the main reasons I was able to get work done, unlike at other high street coffee shops. I had a pleasant conversation with Dean, who is a friendly and down-to-earth local guy. I hope you have a great holiday with your father.

After facing recent challenges, I decided to show support for a local business by getting my usual cappuccino from Max's Coffee Shop. However, my experience was extremely disappointing. I arrived with my dog, unaware of the sign on the door prohibiting pets inside. When I politely asked if my dog could come in, I was met with a hostile and exasperated response, which included a point to the sign. I had missed it and didn't appreciate the rude attitude I received. When I challenged this behavior politely, I was told I was being 'arsy'. I will not be returning to Max's Coffee Shop and will instead stick to the big brand coffee shops that provide excellent and friendly customer service. Small businesses should not act arrogantly and assume they have a monopoly of the area, as losing a single customer can have a significant impact on their success.

I love the latte here , add one of the delicious cakes ....probably a rocky roads , what better way to kick off the day .

My husband and I visited this coffee shop today ...a very wet Friday ! I only noticed it whilst reviewing another coffee shop in Sutton . Our youngest grandchild is called Max so naturally we had to give it a look . Fabulous . We were instantly made welcome and were able to find a table newly sanitised . It was table service only and our drinks and snacks arrived very quickly with a smile and a quick word from us as to why we had chosen to visit this particular coffee shop. Music was playing quietly and the other 5 tables well spaced had customers enjoying a coffee and catch up. We will definitely return here and maybe have more than just toast and coffee . ! There are a few tables outside suitable to use in dry weather . It’s in a small row of shops and on road parking is available . Sensible prices too .

The restaurant offers excellent coffee, fresh cakes, and some snacks. The seating both indoors and outdoors is good, with a small play area for children inside. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. Parking is available outside or on the side road across the restaurant.
