Initially, we were seated at a high table with stools that were a bit uncomfortable, but the staff quickly moved us to a more suitable table. We each ordered 3-4 dishes, all of which were delicious and generously sized. While it's easy to over-order, we managed to finish most of our food. You can bring your own drinks with a £4 corkage fee per person, or purchase drinks from the bar. The staff were friendly, but the service was a bit slow when we were waiting for the dessert menu and for tables to be cleared. The dessert menu was written on a blackboard, which was a bit difficult to read due to smudged chalk. The restaurant closes at 10:30pm on Friday evenings, and we felt a bit rushed to leave as the staff were preparing to close. Despite these minor issues, we had a fantastic evening and would definitely return.
One of the best meals I've had in ages. great food. everything was really tasty. restaurant was packed on a Saturday night and there were a couple of dishes we had to chase up otherwise they wouldn't have arrived. but there was no doubting the quality of food
Had a wonderful meal at Rico Libre. All of the dishes were delicious and you can really tell the chef take care over what they do and offers attention to detail. Service was friendly. I highly recommend tapas here and you certainly will not leave hungry.
Excellent food and friendly service; amazing cocktails and draft beer a nice tipple also; attending a concert at a nearby venue; so very convenient for Digbeth; when next in the area would definitely go back.
A lovely little tapas restaurant in the heart of trendy Digbeth. The food and atmosphere was great. The portions are generous. Our server Muminah offered to make us delicious non alcoholic cocktails and added small extra touches to the birthday cake!
