The Court Oak - Birmingham

We had a fantastic celebration with 20 people on a Sunday afternoon at this restaurant. The manager, Yvonne, expertly served us welcome drinks in the lovely garden, including strawberries in Prosecco which was a nice summer treat. The meals that followed were delicious, and the staff took excellent care of us despite the busy normal trade happening at the same time. The staff were all friendly and professional, and went above and beyond to accommodate our group. I highly recommend this venue.

A lovely meal out with friends. My first time at the Court Oak. We were warmly greeted by Thelma, who served us throughout in a friendly and professional manner. The menu was extensive, and our food was very tasty. My husband made several changes to the menu which to his great surprise they got completely right, this is not his usual experience. All in all a good evening out.

Court Oak hosted my sister-in-laws Celebration of Life/wake for us, what a lovely pub this is, nothing was too much trouble, food was lovely very friendly staff, they had sectioned off a large area that also allowed us to spill out into the garden, allowing family and friends to just mill around together in our own private space sharing our memories. Would highly recommend this pub for small family get together and will definitely be going across again to try the menu!

Me and my wife use this place on a regular basis. We went there on 05 07 2023 and ordered two medium steaks mine was cooked ok but just warm the chips were warm the mushrooms and onions were cold. My wife's steak was rare and all was cold so she took it back for a fresh meal. Because I left some of mine ordered apple and blackcurrant pie and custard and I asked the barman to ask the chef to make it hot as we had already complained to the barman. He was very apologetic. The pudding came out with a little pot of custard, I asked the lady for some more custard the next thing this other lady came to the table and said if you want extra custard you will have to pay for it my wife told her about our poor meals and that a little pot of custard is the least they could offer us. She came back and said the manager had cleared the extra custard. What a joke never again

I haven't been to this pub in over 15 years, but it is still a lively and vibrant spot. The menu is great, with a good selection of drinks available at a reasonable price. The layout of the garden at the back is well done. Parking can be a bit tight, so make sure to log your registration number in when entering the pub. Overall, I had a good time and enjoyed my visit.
