We popped here for lunch as we were staying nearby and what a lovely surprise the food was outstanding. They have a vegan vegetarian menu restaurant called Notty Bites and despite us all being carnivores we were very impressed. Good atmosphere too, great music selection and lots of board games to play which you don't find in pubs so often now. We played scrabble most of the afternoon as ended up staying longer than planned. We will be back.
Wrong drink serving staff member very rudely thought not possible!!! Attitude needs work Guess what-not going back
I had a fantastic experience at this friendly and well-stocked real ale pub, enjoying a delicious vegetarian curry. The value for money was exceptional, with a great selection to choose from. The only slight disappointment was that they were out of tadka dal, but the chili paneer, basmati rice, and chana masala made up for it. The meal was accompanied by a fantastic real ale and a basket of poppadums. The portion sizes were just right, and I would recommend sharing as the choice is so good. I paid £20 for the whole meal, which was worth every penny for a solo diner like myself.
The vegetarian food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious! It is well-seasoned and served in generous portions. I have dined here three times and each time I have been extremely satisfied. The chaats, in particular, are especially delightful.
