Spread Eagle

This pub in Acocks Green is excellent. I frequent this place often due to its affordable prices and welcoming atmosphere. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available, but it can get quite crowded on hot days. The food is also delicious. I highly recommend this pub.

I frequently stop by this restaurant when I'm in the area. The service is consistently excellent and the atmosphere is always friendly. The food is always good and reasonably priced. The staff always make me and my colleagues feel welcome.

On January 4th, 2023, I visited a restaurant that seemed stuck in the 70s. The smell of old carpets and beer barrels lingered in the air, and the floors were sticky. The staff appeared unkempt and in need of a good wash. This place was far from what I expected from a Wetherspoons establishment. It looked tired, drab, and desperately in need of a modern update. We had a good meal in August when we visited now we visited again we had a meal tonight that the portion size was not adequate to the extent of having to much of one thing not enough of another and the chips was overcooked and dry.also the larger tasted flat and like it was off, the plates of food didn't feel overly warm

Helen is amazing, always friendly, welcoming and really interactive with our 10 month old daughter Who she always gets a big grin from
