Village Kebab House - Birmingham

I arrived at the restaurant just after 10pm on a Friday and lucked out with perfect timing, as they were just about to bring out a fresh batch of chips. The chicken kebab meat was cooked perfectly and there was a generous portion in the two 'small' trays I ordered. The spice level was just right, not too mild or overwhelming. I would definitely consider coming back for another visit.

The service at this restaurant was terrible, with cold food delivered 45 minutes late. When I called the restaurant, they could only tell me that the driver would be another 15-20 minutes late. The food was so cold that it wasn't even worth eating - I had to go out and get more food elsewhere.

The Doner Kebab and Chips were delicious, the chicken was excellent, and the delivery was quick... I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Myself and my partner go to this chip shop often as they are close to where we live and open late. But it's only conveniences we go there. And it's very rare you get fresh chips.(gotta catch them to get fresh chips)They are DISCUSSING! They just leave the chips sitting in the chip tray for hours and I have been in there when they have took the chips out of the chip tray and put them back into the fryer to reheat them. The chips I just had been sold i wouldn't even give them away that's how bad they were! WOULDN'T RECOMMEND. NEEDS CLOSING DOWN! If I was ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH I DEFINITELY CLOSE IT DOWN ON THE SPOT! NO EXCUSES!

Not interested in delivering food near to closing time of the takeaway !!! So would not recommend this for a last minute takeaway
