Disgusting, no table service, eg. Clearing tables of food plates. Customers doing themselves. Moving dirty plates to other food laden tables. Sat watching and waiting for clearance. 1hr plus

I complain when it's needed and compliment when due. Would not have come here but fiance wanted walk, drink, food, so. What a 1000% improvement on my last visit and review. Nice sunny evening so sat outside and ordered via the app, (Drinks only well we look at food) I'm impressed, arrived in 4 minutes, exactly as ordered. After the first drinks time to order food, and well done, arrived in under 8 minutes, hot, edible, and nice to look at, well done chef, presentation is noticed !!. Scampi and a curry, all very nice. Food, drinks, pleasant outside surroundings, and enjoyed. Well done and thank you.

I should start by saying I’m a big Wetherspoon’s fan and will try and search them out if I’m in the area. The food was standard Wetherspoons fare which means for the money and standard it was very good. You cannot go wrong for Fish and chips and a cuppa under £11 What I really liked about the Black Horse was the wonderful community feel about the place. Everyone seemed to know everyone and it was a great feeling in the pub. The staff were very friendly. Overall a great place which I would happy visit again.

Best chips I’ve had in a while, amazing customer service. The kids really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend, good value for money

Passed this pub so many times, so took advantage whilst doing some Christmas shopping. Glorious building, with a large bar and separate dining room. Had to order from the bar, and this was a bit slow, but once done, the food came quickly and was delicious. Really enjoyable experience.
