Cooroy Hotel - BLACK HEAD

With 2 friends, we visited the Cooroy Hotel for the first time in many years. The "special" lunches ($15 each) were better than good and the service was also quite good. Since we had last been there, they have undertaken a fairly major refurbishment which adds to the experience. Of course, there is always room for improvement as in every thing we do.

Food ok, but our burgers were pretty standard for their $19 price tag. Can't recommend it for a reasonably priced lunch as there was nothing on the menu even in the bar for under $18!

The Monday schnitzel specials were fantastic, perfectly cooked with mushrooms and brie cheese atop. The lightly dressed coleslaw was tasty, as were the crispy hot chips.

Modern style hotel that does not fit in this town - trying to be trendy and service not great, not cheap -went once and haev no intention of returning

What used to be a quaint little pub in a nice little town has been upgraded to fit into the noosa life style, prices for food have gone the same way . we are cooroy not hastings street...saying that still nice cold beer and nice food, only the cost prevents me from going there.
