Excellent food and service. My wife and I always stop when we're in Black Mountain.

As always a great dinner. Been coming here for years and finally had one of my old Army buddies in from Chicago and he agreed it's the best we've found since leaving Germany specifically the potato salad, rot kraut and Jager schnitzel

If you're looking gor an authentic German spot...this place is it!! My mother in law is from Germany and so far the places I have tried have not come close to the Schnitzel she makes! This place is the closest and most authentic German experience we've had out. And we've tried several places! Beer on tap was great! We sat at the bar with Heather! Phenomenal service and we work in the restaurant industry so our standards are pretty high! Highly recommend this place! German potato salad, cucumber salad, fried taters, red cabbage, sauerkrat, Schnitzel dinner and weiner Schnitzel all 10 out of 10!

Very welcoming and helpful staffs, delicious authentic German cuisine, and a great selection of German beers makes the Berliner one of our favorite Asheville area restaurants. Located in scenic Black Mountain, I highly recommend the Berlin era for tasty change from the usual restaurant fare. Try any of the schnitzels or sausages and for sides be sure to have the spatzel! The cabbage and home fries are super as well. Two dinners with desert, a glass of wine, pint of donkel came to about $50. Highly recommend!

Great little German authentic restaurant. Everything was fresh and delicious. The homemade apple strudel was great as well.
