Mountain Sunrise Cafe - Black Mountain

Food was incredibly average. Couldn’t eat half my meal though because the plastic the used in the to-go containers melted onto my eggs. Bathroom was gross and it had no soap or paper towels at 11 am on a Saturday when no one else was there

Was not impressed at all ordered two hotdogs with chilly cheese and ketchupand there was so much ketchup on it. That's all you could taste and it just fell apart in your hand couldn't even eat it. I will never eat at this dump again. There lucky I paid for it

Our breakfast took so long to be ready, then they made a mistake with our check! The food is ok, nothing spectacular… Staff is friendly, the house is cute and location is good! But I will try other breakfast locations for the rest of our days in here!

I do not recommend. The food is very poor quality. They were also out of what seemed like half the items on their menu. They tried charging us more than the menu listed due to them giving us the wrong “old” menus with older pricing. They did not offer to fix this mistake, even when asked. Do not go here for a quality breakfast experience.

I got exactly what I needed! It made me so happy to sit on the porch of a purple building on the first bearable day after a heat wave. There were lots of plants and shade and not a lot of street traffic, so it was really calming. I greatly enjoyed my omelet and some of my dining companion’s pancakes ? I recommend those!some other reviews have negative comments about the food and drink. I found that I got what I expected — it’s a small local diner, not a Michelin star restaurant. It was casual, timely, friendly, and the food was inexpensive. Thank you!
