Pizza Island - Blackburn with Darwen

This restaurant is a typical fast food place that also serves pizza. The burgers are decent, but the pizza is the better option. Overall, there is nothing outstanding about this place, but there is also nothing negative to mention.

I absolutely adore the pizzas at this restaurant! They are incredibly flavorful and have just the right amount of spice. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. If you enjoy a spicy, Asian-inspired twist on your pizzas, then this is the place to go. I highly recommend trying their pizzas.

The food at Pizza Island is consistently tasty! Living in York, I always make it a point to stop by whenever I am visiting my family. Yesterday, as I was heading back to York to assist with flood relief efforts, I decided to swing by Pizza Island to see if they could contribute anything. They kindly donated two 12-inch pizzas, which were greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and the food is consistently delicious. The staff always make me feel welcome, and the starters and pizzas are particularly good. It's not known for its fish and chips, so don't expect that on the menu. There is plenty of parking available nearby and they also offer great lunchtime specials.
