Etcetera Etc. - Blainville

I have lived in Blainville for 20 years and have been going to this restaurant since it first opened. While the ownership has changed hands multiple times over the years, the quality has always been consistent. However, my experience last night was disappointing as the meals were all terrible and the service was even worse, despite the servers being polite. I personally would not recommend this restaurant.

That was my second visit to the restaurant, and the food was just as good as the first time. The Caesar salad was light, but very tasteful, a cut over what you are serving in most restaurants, and the Tortellini Romanoff was beautiful al dente...and very tasty. Portions are generous. Service was friendly, maybe too much. The waiter was nice, but so often came to the table that it was a bit intrusive. Be prepared that there is no intimate Trattoria setting at all; Rather, it is more of a bar restaurant with some visible TV monitors and music that is somewhat loud, but that doesn't bother the entertainment at the table

My experience at dinner this weekend was very disappointing. The food lacked flavor, the service was subpar and extremely slow. Although the staff was polite, they appeared inexperienced. I do not recommend this restaurant and do not plan on returning anytime soon.

The hotel is located in a pleasant, small shopping area directly from Hwy 640, the somewhat hidden restaurant can best be described as hybrid Resto bar pub that serves a good pizza, but an extensive menu that should cover quite well all tastes. Contemporary in style and decor, a little dark if you want, but with a touch of class. Both the reception and the service were polite and attentive and our server Jérôme has done good work to select the corresponding wines through the glass.

Surprisingly busy at 18:00, we had a very good evening. The place is a sort of mix between sport restaurant and regular restaurant. The sercice was a bit slow du to many clients at the same time. Good wine list and a pretty good menu...... I like pizza and this restaurant serve a pizza above average... We live in this area and plan to return....soon
