The salted caramel donut and the breakfast sandwich are my favorites, but the hand pies are pretty fantastic too. My only critique is some of the savory items are a little sweet to me, I'm thinking of the broccoli cheddar scone specifically, but don't really care for sweet in my savory and I still enjoyed it!
A lovely vegan bakery. All of the food and coffee options were delicious
If you're trying to go vegan or vegetarian in Bloomington, this place is a life-saver! Before I started eating vegetarian, I first ate their pizza handpies at Hopscotch Coffee. I thought they were filled with hamburger meat until I looked up the bakery and was shocked that everything is vegan! I stop by every weekend and usually get 2-4 handpies, which are my favorite product. I also get a few sweet treats for the week. The donuts are not my favorite, but the cookies are fantastic, especially as a vegan option and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious. My only complaint is that the handpies sell out really quickly (you have to get there between 10:30am-12:00pm to get the good flavors) and the handpie flavors don't always rotate (at least from one weekend to the next, I don't know about weekdays).
Yum. Can I just say yum? Yum. Delicious vegan pastries. Always happy to support plant based businesses. Highly recommend eating anything they offer. Yum.
Wonderful, independent and locally owned Bakery. We love the gluten-free options as well as the vegan bakery Goods. The donuts were super light and fluffy, and gluten-free items were well priced and fresh! We love the old-school interior decor with the formica top kitchen tables for people to sit and have a nice hot cup of coffee. They had a great hot tea selection. I give the rainbow Bakery five stars!
