We went on a date night and split and appetizer (cheese board) and dessert (lava cake with peanut butter). We also had a cocktail (bourbon crush)—their cocktails all sounded great and ours was. We both ordered entrees—kale salad and filet mignon. The food was all cooked/prepared very well. The cheese board was tasty and well compiled, though not very crazy selections (all cheddar-types). The staff was pleasant and not pushy—we got good attention (water glasses were always full). We would definitely recommend this place for a date night or special occasion. It’s a little too pricey to be a regular, go-to spot. The food was worth it, though. It was also a little louder than we’d like, but it was a crowded evening (with two active weddings in the nearby venues).
The entrees were fantastic. The desserts were not that great. Service was excellent. Everyone was very professional and nice. It got too loud when it filled.
Excellent meal start to finish and service was excellent as well.
My wife and I are at the Farmer's Daughter a few months ago and it was busy and excellent. This time seemed like amateur hour. After ordering it was over 50 minutes to receive our food and it seemed like there were only 4 other tables besides us. After dinner the waiter asked if we would like dessert and my wife said we would like to take a look at the menu. 10 minutes later the waiter brought the check over and no dessert menu.
