The staff was friendly, but our friend was not very impressed with the food. The restaurant was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell.
It is better to dine somewhere more refined, as the food here is not tasty.
My friend and I were exploring some of the popular spots on the Main Street when we stumbled upon this restaurant (although I initially thought it was Gran Sabor, the location is definitely correct- off 3rd). We appreciated that it was a small, family-owned establishment where you could see the daughter preparing the food while her mother managed the kitchen. The menu was displayed on the wall in chalk, offering choices of meat, fish, or poultry with the option of various sauces (such as curry, garlic which I recommend, and brown sauce), served with rice, beans, and plantains. The meal was delicious and very affordable. I highly recommend this place for those seeking authentic Panamanian cuisine and enjoy being in the company of locals.
Good food and service excellent price good
