If it wasn 't already taken, their mission statement should be have it your way .I was burned out from mandatory black beans. Was nice to have pinto bean option. Had a steak salad to watch the game. And grabbed a Carne asada burrito for later. They piled on the sauce upon request.
Staff is friendly and upbeat. Inside is clean and great atmosphere. I highly recommend the Sweet Barbacoa. I will definitely eat here again.
Nice place, big, open, airy, clean. They have a nice menu and about 10 bucks a head. I don't know who came first Cafe Rio or Costa vida but this is good food to be sure but seems like a Costa vida knockoff. Food was good pork is pretty good tortillas were fresh of course but they tended to dry pretty darn quick and a little mealy. If you're closer to a cafe radio it's still a good stop.
The food was great and the employees were friendly and appeared to have decent work ethics. It's always cold inside the restaurant and the atmosphere would be better if it were warmer. It was refreshing to be in a Boise restaurant with good service in a time when most restaurant staff in town really don't seem to care about their job, their service or their customers. Thank you guys for being friendly!!! I'll be back for sure!
