Gyro Shack - Boise

WORST FOOD EXPERIENCE EVER! Would give a ZERO stars if it was an option. We ordered around 6:10pm w/pick up time at 6:30pm on 8/28/21 at The Maple Grove Location On Emerald. I ordered the Super Gyro and my daughter ordered the Christmas OGX. My gyro was missing hummus, kalamata olives, had literally 4 tiny pieces of lettuce on it the size of a quarter each, I had added sautéed mushrooms and received 1..literally 1 slice of a mushroom, I had added avocado and it was leftoff, there were three tiny strips of onion and they were skimpy on the gyro meat. I had asked for it to be cut in half; it was served to me the exact way you see in the picture, open faced, not rolled and certainly not cut in half and as ifit could not get any worse the small amount of meat that was on the gyro was not fresh and looked like it had been sitting out a while and the sandwich was just inedible. My daughters sandwich was missing lettuce and french fries and theyput a spicy sauce on it that was not in the description, making it inedible due to the spice. There was no manager on duty and all they would do is take our name and number to give to the manager who has yet to call us back. We triedcalling the other location to get a manager and they did not have an evening manager working either and all they could do was call the Maple Grove store and give them our name and number for the Maple Grove manager to call the next day(useless). My daughter did drive back to take the food back and ask for a refund but so far there has been no refund and no manager contact about this awful experience and us having to drive back to this location to try to fix it isridiculous! Do yourself a favor and pick another place to go eat. Its teenagers working in the night unsupervised and without a manager. The Gyro shack has poor customer service in addition to not having a quality control system nor do it'semployees have proper training to know what goes on what sandwiches.

This place is delicious. Though minus one star for getting our order wrong pretty much every time and forgetting our Tzatziki sauce pretty much every time. Dry fries are gross and forgetting the sauce is cruel. However times are hard for everyone right now and the food is still delicious. We love you gyro shack and we will always be your 4 star fans. Keep your heads up.

Double charged for an order on my debit card. Called to have them reverse the unauthorized charge. Was told 3-5 business days for it to post back to my account. Day 14 , several calls to location and corporate offices with only a text message from someone that works at the location. I believe this is illegal and will be reporting this issue. It wasn't a large amount, but it's the principle, dishonesty, and avoiding the issue as to why I will be reporting this.

First time trying gyro shack. I got a deluxe combo with pita bread. I enjoyed it. Thanks gyro shack for making me a enjoyable lunch!

Would be cool if the people actually attempted to be nice- but that’s just my opinion??‍ They didn’t even bother to smile or say hello.
