Village Pub - Boise

On our road trip, we made a pitstop in Boise and found this hidden gem on the GT Caddy app. From the minute we walked in, we felt like part of the family. The locals were welcoming and even invited us to join in a game of GT. The server was fantastic and the beer was ice cold. If you're looking for a no-frills, down-to-earth bar, this is the spot for you. Unfortunately, we didn't try the food so I can't comment on that.

The "Best Of" lists in Boise are not to be trusted, but this place truly has the best burgers I have ever tried. I went with a friend on 09/28/21 and we ordered two mushroom cheeseburgers with extra onions. When our plates arrived, we were amazed at the size of the burgers - thick slices of excellent beef on boutique deli rolls loaded with mushrooms, cheese, onions, lettuce, and fresh tomato, all accompanied by a generous serving of delicious crinkle cut French fries. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, especially the beef. We washed it all down with a diet coke and a cold draft beer served in a frozen mug. The bill was surprisingly reasonable, so we left a generous tip. This is, without a doubt, the best burger place in Boise, hands down.

Japanese run friendly bar with outdoor smoking area and drinking area. Pool tables and video games. Very clean, very tidy, air conditioned, landlady is lovely. Highly recommended

During our road trip we stopped in boise and on our handy dandy gt caddy app where we came across this jewel. from the moment when my man and I went through the door, we were treated like family. the locals were very friendly. we were invited to play with the local youngs and had a wonderful time. the server was great, the beer was cold. if they like a standard little non-flatsy backwoods bar, this is the place for them! we had no eating, so I can't rate that.
