Fresco Grill - Bonsall

I ordered the Rack of Lamb, which was outstanding. It was served on a bed of mashed potatoes, accompanied by grilled squash and carrots, and drizzled with a delicious sauce garnished with fresh rosemary. I also tried the Linguine Cioppino, which was filled with fresh mussels, shrimp, clams, and fish. It was not only delicious but also offered a generous portion. For dessert, we were treated to a special cheesecake that I've never seen or tasted before. It was just the right amount of sweetness and practically melted in my mouth. To our surprise, Alex informed us that dessert was on the house, a complimentary gesture from the owner for being first-time customers. I highly recommend Fresco Grill, located in a charming little village of shops and restaurants in Bonsall, just off Highway 76 near Mission Rd, not far from Interstate 15.

Most restaurants provide complimentary cold filtered water, but not this one! They serve room temperature, unfiltered tap water, or you can purchase a bottle of water for $8.00. Furthermore, they wouldn’t accept our San Diego Restaurant gift card because it was printed on paper! We had purchased it online from Costco and could only print it. Additionally, to enjoy happy hour, you have to sit at the bar. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we won’t be returning.
